Volunteer
Cass Community Social Services relies on volunteers to help accomplish its mission. People – adults, youth and children (over the age of 10 is best) – assist us in a variety of ways. Some come for an hour. Others help for a day. A number of people are regulars working with us once a week or once a month. Still others volunteer for an entire weekend or week.
We can accommodate groups from 2-100 at a time. In order to make sure we anticipate your arrival and have supplies and staff ready to assist, please email Rev. Sue Pethoud or call 313.883.2277 ext. 203.
If your group is considering staying overnight, or for multiple days, please be sure to look over the Volunteer Brochure.
Student interns and individuals interested in volunteering at CCSS will also need to complete a Volunteer-Student Application in advance of beginning to work.

- We need to know your name, the name of the stock being transferred, the number of shares, the approximate date of transfer, and the name and phone number of the broker who is making the transfer. This ensures that we’ll not only receive the stock, we’ll know who gave it to us.
