Pictures of Hope

POHlogo

“When you show children that you care about what they dream for in life, perhaps a child who never felt he or she had self-worth, now will.

– Linda Solomon

Cass Community is absolutely honored to be selected as a 2018 participant and beneficiary of Pictures of Hope, an award-winning national program created by renowned photojournalist and author Linda Solomon.

On Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 11:00am – 1:00pm, Ms. Solomon will lead students and mentors in a photo tutorial.

Pictures of Hope is fueled by its volunteer mentors and Cass has curated an inspiring group of business and community leaders to guide our kids!

At the conclusion of the tutorial, each child will be surprised with a new, donated digital camera and given their first photo assignment, to:

Go with their mentor and capture their dreams!

Each student will have their best photograph turned into a custom Pictures of Hope card that will be sold by Cass, with all proceeds supporting its mission of Fighting Poverty, Creating Opportunity, Building Community.

Like Cass, Pictures of Hope is dedicated to providing children with opportunity. Through photography, they want children to see their dreams right in front of them, ready to achieve.
